Our cellulite treatment uses a combination of Laser Lipo, Ultrasonic Cavitation (see Laser Lipo page for more information) and Vacuum Massage to combat the orange peel effect, smoothing and tightening the skin for slimmer legs and bottom.

Vacuum Massage is a therapeutic massage technique used to treat cellulite reduction, body sculpting and diseases such as colds, bronchitis, pneumonia and osteochondrosis.

Positive and negative pressure is applied to the skin, penetrating the subcutaneous tissue. The positive pressure is achieved by the rim and centre post of the treatment heads of the massage machine, which causes blood vessels to constrict. The negative pressure is achieved by suction, causing blood vessels to dilate. This constriction and dilation reorganises the connective tissues, increasing blood circulation (oxygen and nutrients) to the skin and subcutaneous tissue which increases their metabolism and encourages lymphatic drainage. It will also rupture the cellular walls of some fat cells allowing their liquid content to be released and collected by the lymphatic system and eliminated completely naturally by the body.

Vacuum massage is thought to be one of the most trusted non-invasive treatments against cellulite because it smoothes the hypodermic fat layer and encourages elasticity in the skin. Please note: Vacuum Massage cannot be used on or near bony parts of the body such as hips, back or head.

Body Sculpting & Skin Tightening

Skin Tightening works by penetrating the skin layers with radio frequency waves that selectively heat the skin tissue and the extra-cellular matrix where collagen fibres are fixed. This localised heating causes immediate contraction (shrinking) of old collagen fibres in the dermis whilst stimulating accelerated new collagen production and elastin fibres. The new collagen produced regenerates and smoothes out any wrinkles, lines and cellulite. Ultrasonic Cavitation

Ultrasound Cavitation uses a low-frequency ultrasound to liquefy the solid fat substance within fat cells into a triglyceride liquid. The vibrations caused by the ultrasound ruptures the cellular walls of fat cells whilst avoiding any affect on any muscle or bone or any other type of tissue that surround them.

Once the fat cell walls have been destroyed, their liquid content is released into the fluid surrounding the cells where water soluble glycerol is absorbed into the circulatory system and used as energy, whereas any fatty acids are transported to the liver and eliminated completely naturally by the body.
